Marianne and Thomas's Glasgow Wedding

This summer Marianne and Thomas got married in their home town of Glasgow. Together since they were 15, their wedding was a celebration of deep and long lasting love.

The day started with the bride and groom getting ready at their parent's houses before they made their way to St Peter's Partick church in the West End where Father Wojciech performed his first wedding in Scotland, having only arrived in Glasgow from many years in Iceland and South Africa three weeks earlier! After a very moving ceremony in the spectacular church we made our way to the University of Glasgow where Marianne and Thomas both studied to take some pictures around their old haunts. Starting in the spooky but undeniably impressive cloisters the wind whipped Marianne's veil around her as she and her new husband spent a little time catching up after a very busy morning!

Then we visited the Hunterian Museum, one of Thomas's favourite spots in the University and I'm so glad that we did because it made a really unique venue for some pictures, despite Marianne's reluctance to have wedding photos full of bones! I have a feeling that the Hunterian will hold a special place in both Marianne and Thomas's hearts from now on.

The celebrations were held at The Old Fruitmarket in the Merchant City which is a stunning alternative to the more traditional spots used for weddings. Most often used for concerts the enormous stage, high vaulted ceiling and breathtaking lighting make quite the impact and it is the ideal spot for a party of spectacular proportions! And party the guests did...

Susan and Paul's Inverness Wedding

Susan and Paul got married this summer at Achnagairn House in Kirkhill, outside Inverness. Achnagairn is a stunning country house that has been recently renovated to the height of luxury and taste. The whole day was held there, from the bride and groom's preparations in their beautiful bedrooms, to the ceremony, meal and dance which were held in the awe-inspiring wood lined banquet hall. Guests drank on the lawns and chatted in the comfort of the house's gorgeous sitting rooms then danced the night away...
